FAQ

Questions about retina care

How often should people with diabetes have a retina check?

Usually at least once a year, or as advised by your eye doctor and physician.

Are floaters and flashes an emergency?

A sudden increase in floaters or flashes, or a shadow over your vision, needs prompt examination. Call the clinic during working hours, or go to a hospital emergency department after hours.
